Denbury Community Shop Ltd has been set up as a Community Benefit Society (CBS) following consultation with the Plunkett Foundation. The CBS model will allow us to offer shares in the shop project to help raise funds. It is a not for profit legal structure for community businesses that has a well-proven track record as a successful model for raising investment and many community shops in Devon are run using this model

To open and operate a thriving, community owned shop that offers quality, locally sourced products and services, acting as a central hub for the village of Denbury and surrounding communities.
